This place seriously knows how to do soul food right. I got the beef tips over rice with broccoli and cheese casserole and red beans, and everything was packed with flavor. The beef tips were super tender, the casserole was cheesy and comforting, and the red beans tasted like they'd been slow-cooked all day. The plate looked a little messy since they pile it on and everything touches, but honestly, that just made it better lol. Big portions, bold flavors, and total comfort food vibes.

Got the beef tips and rice with cabbage and greens. My husband got his with corn and mac n cheese. Everything was average, nothing jumped out at us except the corn. The corn was creamy, sweet, and slightly hot. And addictive. There was enough food for a whole second meal. Also got a personal lemon chess pie and slice of poundcake. Super sweet. Prices are a little high.

My son took me here to eat( for the first time). The staff were very friendly. The reason for the 3 ⭐ was because the brisket was dry, tough to chew no season 😞, the ribs were tender and good, beans I didn't eat because they were sugar beans 😞, Greens and yams were good, Peach cobbler 😁.noooow let's talk about the chicken and dressing mannnn that was so good 😋😋😋😋❤️ . I had to order some to go 😊. I really thought this restaurant was a soul food place but maybe they serve on different days 🤷🏾‍♀️

1st time here. When ordering can be a bit confusing. Employees were nice. The food was good. My meatloaf wasn't as hot as it should be, and the mac and cheese had a very well done of melted cheese on top wasn't edible for me.
