Thank you Nathan (Boss As$ Pit Boss!!!), Nubia, David, and last but not least Tyler. You all gave us the best possible experience. Nathan took care of us from the front door, through a detailed explanation of our options, to amazing recommendations, to checking on us several times, to giving us a free order of wings to try out. We could not have been better taken care of.
The food was some of the best I have ever had. We ate just about every meat they had and all were amazing. The turkey was the tastiest and moistest I have EVER had. The sides and desserts were incredible as well. Save room for the bread pudding!!!!! I am so very impressed.
Absolutely no doubt we will be back!!!!!!
Atmosphere 5/5. Love the music. Every thing is clean and inviting. Most tables are family style so you can make friends with people you’ve never met. Love it!
Service 4/5 The gentleman who got our sides and checked us out was super super sweet and friendly. The guy slicing looked at me like I was a dummy when I asked a question. 😂 In his defense, it was my first visit and a question that would typically be known to a return customer.
Food: 3/5 The Mac&Cheese was fantastic. Per my 5 y/o son, it was both “Mack-y”, and “Cheesy”. The prime brisket was seasoned well, but way too dry. It got stuck in my throat a time or two. It would probably be perfect but the smoking time must’ve been off on this batch. I’d give it another try, if it was confirmed that this isn’t the norm for the brisket.
We ordered the 4-meat platter to share with two people: Wagyu brisket, Duroc pork butt, Brisket burnt ends, and Smoked turkey. The smoke turkey was our favorite – it was juicy and moist! The Wagyu brisket and brisket burnt ends had nice seasoning, and the fat in the Wagyu really melted and was tasty to eat.
It came with two sides, and we got macaroni salad and Cole slaw. A bit too much sauce on the Cole slaw made it a bit too wet, but the macaroni salad was unexpectedly slightly creamy and very tasty!
We like the casual ambiance, and loved the food presentation (to select) and sauce presentation. Bathroom is available. Wished the outside tables were wiped-down.
We would love to come back!
I have found the best barbecue place in my opinion in Dallas.
Look no further than this restaurant. You know I’ve been spoiled ever since I went to San Antonio and had some of the best barbecue in my life, but this one? Is a rival.
Mac and cheese was amazing, brisket was amazing. Portions were amazing. I would come back here again and I will!
Terrible!! I should have requested my money back and directions to a better spot. The brisket was dry and cold. The smoked chicken again cold and so dry it became mush with a bite. The sauces could not save the them. Beans dry and cold, Mac and cheese dry and cold. Look at photos. The chicken wings were alright but dry as well. Should have known from the photos.
The staff were cold but the food itself not sure how this is highly rated. They offered a cookie for review.
