Came in and made a carryout order for a 1/4 lb brisket and sausage sandwich french fries and a drink. Total bill was $28 kinda high priced. Asked for extra lean brisket. Drove 14 miles home and found out when I open the sandwich. There was more fat than meat... literally. Call back up to the restaurant talk to the young lady that I made the order with. She was very nice and apologized and offered to replace the sandwich which I wasn't gonna drive 14 miles back to get. Said she would have a talk with the cooks which I appreciate, but doesn't really help my situation.. it shouldn't be this hard to get with asked for probably won't be going back.

This restaurant has the looks & feel of a quality bbq joint. The pork ribs have a sweet glaze, the porchetta was the 🏆 on my plate. The ribeye steak 🥩 had good flavor. For dessert the Oreo cheesecake & banana 🍌 cheesecake were delicious.

GREAT FOOD!!! Every time I travel near Crockett I make time to eat here! It does not disappoint. The Fried Spare Ribs in Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce are some of the best food I've eaten in my life! Great quality and flavor with all their smoked meats and sides...and the banana pudding cheesecake is awesome too!

I would drive back here for the macaroni and cheese. I loved the seasoning in the brisket's bark. Brisket was real moist - falling apart. The pork sausage grind was very fine. The coleslaw is non-traditional - beyond finely chopped/processed. Red beans and rice were bland. This place is a huge attraction- and beautiful/hospitable for large groups. There's a story in nearly everything inside. When I go back, I'll get a baked potato with beef and all the fixings and that amazing wedge salad.

Nice upgrade to Texas BBQ with updated sides. I had the rib plate and the ribs were tasty with nice caramelization from the brown sugar content in the rub and mopping, I suspect. The sauce here was fine but not approaching drinkable like some of my favorite Texas sauces. The star of my lunch was having updated sides instead of the traditional beans or potato salad. Those were offered, but I opted for the maple Brussels sprouts and a wedge salad and I had no regrets. The 1/2 wedge was the star of my plate with crispy pecans, a nice quality bue cheese and balsamic drizzle more reminiscent of a fancy steak house than your typical BBQ joint where everyone keeps their trucker hats on while grabbing grub. The Brussels were rich, almost a bit greasy, hardly a single here in the south, but the their maple sauce was on point. I'll definitely return to sample their brisket and chicken, and I'm most curious about their experiments with nachos and other new ways to have Texas classic BBQ. Definitely worth a departure to Crockett if you are in East Texas.
