As someone who has had great Texas BBQ, my expectations were low for Rudy's here in CRP. Those expectations were met and exceeded. Chose the chicken. It was well seasoned & flavorful and their spicy BBQ sauce was also good (not too sweet!). The beans were also well done. Plus, they have great breakfast tacos.

Rudy's country store was the highlight of my trip to Corpus Christi. It was the first time I would visit such a restaurant. All their choices were great. The moist brisket is one of my favorites. The jalapeno stuffed sausage also was great. I would definitely recommend it.
