I was surprised to walk in to an empty restaurant at lunch. Ordered the two meat plate. Respectfully, I think the only thing on the whole platter that was seasoned was the buttered bread. Brisket was heavy, dense and hardy. Super friendly staff and the restaurant was impeccably clean.

Stopped in for lunch today before my family and I left Texas. We all loved the food, it's hands down the best bbq we have ever had. The ribs and pulled pork were so tender and very well seasoned. The brisket melted in our mouth and the sides were all very delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive, they recommended the banana pudding, which is to die for. We will definitely be back when we visit Texas and are in the area.

11/25/24: Always tasty & filling as usual. I'm just adding a cpl more photos since I was there less than an hour ago. Old Review: I've been wanting to try this place (but very picky about BBQ!!!) Anyway, 3 of us decided to go today. We had their chopped BBQ sandwiches, mac/chz, potato salad & banana pudding. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! All 3 of us are CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE!!! They offer great M-F lunch deals, variety of choices & good prices too. It's such a cute, quaint place as well as a family owned business. Thank you, Candy! She runs the front & is so sweet, hubby "hides"(lol) in back to weigh & wrap while her B.I.L. José makes the great tasting food.
