Brisket sandwich and the turkey sandwich was tender and tasty. Service was good. Potato salad was good. Tater tots were crispy and perfectly cooked.

The BBQ did not have a smoke ring. That's a good indication you aren't getting what you think you are. The ribs were very bland. The BBQ sauce was good for bottled sauce. The hamburger steak was good as well as the pinto beans, slaw, and onion strings (broken up onion rings). The iced tea was weak. The peach cobbler was quite good. We may come again but won't order BBQ.

Passing by and stayed the night in Childress. Decided to place a to-go order for this place. It was super easy to place an order. Food was ready in 10 minutes. Service was great. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant. The food was pretty good, but not great. It definitely lacked some seasoning, but overall I enjoyed it. Just make sure you get plastic ware if you need it and some salt/pepper.

If you are anywhere near Childress, TX, you really ought to give this restaurant a try! We stopped for lunch just by chance on our way through to Santa Fe, and we're happy we did. The BBQ beef brisket was out of this world, and baby back ribs my wife had were too good to do a foggy bag. Portions were large (see the pics). We will definitely be back next time we pass through.

Stopped in on our way home on a road trip. The fried mushrooms were the best I've ever had. Not the usual deep fried buttons you get everywhere else. So good. We split the sampler plate and there was plenty for the both of us. The BBQ sauce was the BEST! No twang or spicy, it was perfect for us.The sweet tea was just the right amount of sweet! The staff was very nice and gave a genuine welcoming experience.Bathroom was clean. All in all absolutely perfect dinner.
