If your looking for a local gem, stop by What's Tha Deal Barbecue. There is plenty of clean indoor seating for large and/or small groups! The meat is full of flavor and slides of the bones! Don't forget to get the creamy mac'n cheese and cream corn! If that's not your flavor, don't worry there is an array of side and dessert to choose from! The service was kind and attentive! Make it a "Must Go!" when in College Station/Bryan!

Wow. I've been wanting to try this place for about a year now. And man, am I glad I pulled over did a u turn, and got some food from here. Talk about delicious BBQ in Texas, you are not experiencing good tx BBQ without going to try What's Tha Deal. What's tha deal? Omg everything. I have lived in tx most of my life, which means I'm supposed to know good Texas BBQ. These guys knocked it out of the park. From juicy delicious meat that falls off the bone, to just the right amount of fat that it doesn't gross you out. Literally down to the awesome flavor of their BBQ sauce which complements the meat like a dream, this place is worth your money. Prove me wrong!

Passing through on work trip and stopped in for lunch. Sunday afternoon and not crowded. I always gauge BBQ by having the brisket, so ordered the brisket and ribs platter with potato salad and green beans. Potato salad was the star of the show, some of the best I have had from all across the country. On to the brisket and ribs.... brisket was a bit dry and tough and the ribs were fall off the bone, but it was almost as if they had been steamed. I like a little give to my ribs with a nice texture on the outside. Sauce was good and the staff was friendly.

I usually don't write reviews but I had to leave one after eating their food. I've lived here my whole life and I'm not even kidding that I'd put this up against some of the best BBQ restaurants I've eaten at, I can't believe I've been missing out on this place for so long. I got the two meat plate with brisket, chicken, green beans and baked beans and I loved it all. The brisket was so moist, the chicken was falling off the bone and even the sides were delicious. I'm not usually a sweet BBQ sauce fan either but I could drink that by the gallon. Keep doing what y'all are doing and you've got a customer for life.

I have eaten from here before. But I ordered food this Sunday 02/16/'25. Everything was AMAZING. They added the cream corn, and it was DELICIOUS. The ribs WERE so good and FALL of the bone great. The brisket was tender and TASTEFUL. THE mac'cheese wasCHEESING. I got a three meat plate and ate from it 3 times. This was my BEST experience yet here. Will be coming back soon. They forgot my extra pickles and gave me chocolate cake when I asked for 2 pieces of pound cake. But other than that, lil misshap, my food was AMAZING.
