A friend and I had brisket chili, and it was delicious. A bit of a kick, but not too hot. Be forewarned, there are beans. (gasp!) The service was friendly with a side of witty banter. For dessert, we had a cornbread muffin with sweet butter and nearly as rich as cake. Clean, comfortable dining area with a sunny view of the street.

Food was sooo good, the best BBQ I had while in Texas!!! The brisket just fell apart and was so juicy and flavorful, same with the pulled pork.. so much flavor. Attempted to go back but they close early during the week. Only issue was when our food came out some items were missing but they resolved it. I definitely recommend Millers.. and don’t forget desert… the sopapilla cheesecake is amazing!!

In the last few decades, I’ve had the pleasure of BBQ trips across all the Southern states, from east to west. This year, I embarked on a Texas BBQ tour and must say, if you ever find yourself near or passing through Belton, Miller’s Smokehouse is a must-visit. They truly excel in every aspect of BBQ, and the dedication shines through in every dish.

The brisket had a delightful smoke ring and a delicious bark that melted in your mouth. The St. Louis-style ribs were nothing short of outstanding. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, perfectly cooked to perfection. To complement the main dishes, the smoked and fried wings were an absolute delight. The espresso BBQ sauce added a refreshing tang that balanced the richness of the meal.

But what truly sets Miller’s Smokehouse apart is its friendly and welcoming staff. They were more than happy to give us a tour of the pits and even allowed us to spend some time with their pitmaster. It was a great experience to learn about their BBQ techniques and see the passion they put into every dish.

Surprising, I did not know they served breakfast. Had the pancakes, excellent, well toasted, thick & heavy. Had the sausage patty, I would have preferred more zest. Next time I’ll just have the bacon!

Was looking for a nice ride to get out of Austin during Memorial Day and love BBq so wanted to give this place a try. Glad I did, the entire experience was amazing. A great place to sit down with family and friends, very clean and has a large staff that is keeping up with the hustle and bustle. I had a medley of food to include Ribs, brisket, wings, cheeseburger, fries, chocolate cheesecake for dessert and a cold brew coffee and unsweetened tea. I absolutely loved everything I had but I’ll say this…the wings are up there as some of the best I’ve had ever. The fries were seasoned perfectly. The ribs were outstanding and the brisket had a nice smoke ring and flavor. Tea was good but the cold brew was outstanding with a nice flavor with chocolate notes and smooth. If you’re in the area, come out and support your local restaurants and avoid the chains.
