Everything we ate was EXCELLENT! The steak was cooked perfectly and their BBQ is perfect. My favorite side was the cabbage which he said he cooks in the brisket drippings 😋
For approx $20.00 and change, you can get 2 dry, tasteless ,thin ribs, and a dry tasteless length of boudain, with 2 two ice cream sized scoops of sides. Not including the the $2.50, medium sized drinks… Thank Goodness they supplied a small cup of bb-que sauce and a little bit of purple onion and a few dill pickle slices for flavor, otherwise my meal would have been a Total Failure! SMH… Oh and be careful how you order the 8oz steak cooked. Medium rare might be over cooked! Total bill for both of us was $53.02, was expected, but the quality of the food, was NOT. this may be our last visit TO THIS QUAINT re-utilized service station from the ole days.
Footnote – Sorry but the quality of food was almost non existent, any lover of good BB-Que would and should expect better!!!
Rib sandwich Delicious/ more meat than I expected
Potato salad > scale> 1 to 10> 1 being lowest score> it’s a 1(no flavor)
Will order again > yep

I love this place. I been coming here since a kid. The food and customer service is amazing.
The brisket chopped beef sandwich was mushy and dry, very weird texture. The baked potato was not fully cooked and was hard. The toppings did not melt. The chopped beef with no sauce was diced, really diced, super dry, not even the sauce could save it. All three cost @40.00. I also paid an extra 1.50 for chopped with no sauce. The service was friendly, atmosphere was has a diner vibe. The food was not worth what I paid for. I always support small businesses but won’t be coming back here. I walked in and ordered it to go. I did not ask for a refund or contest the charge, I also tipped. I won’t be coming back here. Maybe it was an off day, just can’t take another chance on it. If the food was good paying 40 plus would not be an issue.
