Absolutely sensational. Amazing BBQ. There was a long line but it moves quickly. Do some research beforehand and know ahead of time what you want since it's a war zone inside when ordering. They will rush you and ask you what you want and you need to be ready. So many good meat options and side dishes. Everything was good from the sausage, to the brisket. 100% recommend to make the trip out and try it out.

Absolutely awesome! Food was great they were very busy however got us through the line quickly. Our food didn't take long at all and was absolutely amazing. They will even let you tour their smokehouse which is pretty cool. Friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere right on the outskirts of Austin.

When it comes to BBQ, there's not many places as traditional as Terry Blacks. You really can't go wrong with anything. I highly recommend the beef rib (plan on $50 or so for the whole rib), the moist brisket, and the ribs. Everything is phenomenal, and the sides are as cared for as the BBQ. You don't find that often. If you're in Austin, make a stop here. I went at 10:30 am on a Tuesday and I was the first in line.

A must when in Texas. Best brisket I've ever had. Research before you go so you know how to order. The meat and sides were all great but also pricey - you order by the slice & pound. Watch the portion size for the sides - a single serving goes a long way. Place is massive and often has a line but it moves quick. A little chaotic at check out but lots of people help you. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Seriously fabulous BBQ

Fifth leg of the journey through the wonderful world of Texas barbecue. We have finally arrived in Austin. This venue is located near the wonderful Butler Metro Park, a stone's throw from the Colorado River. The place is very large and very crowded but the line goes by incredibly fast thanks to a really super efficient staff. Also in this restaurant I ordered the same dishes I ordered in the previous restaurants so that I have a term of comparison (maybe in the next ones I will make some exceptions) and this time I get: "Pork Ribs", "Sliced Brisket" and "Original Sausage". Of course, the side dishes could only be: "Baked Potato Salad," "Coleslaw," and Mac & Cheese. I must say that the food is absolutely fantastic. I taste the different meats ordered right away without adding any sauce. Then I try them with the different varieties of sauces offered: "spicy," "regular," and "sweet." The Brisket is cooked to perfection with a super flavorful bark, fatty and moist inside with a smoky flavor that is not particularly overpowering. The Original Sausage is tasty with a level "snap," fatty and moist. The Pork Ribs are cooked in such a way that holding them by the bone causes the meat to fall into the tray. Personally I prefer the pork ribs where the bite is more consistent however it is just a matter of personal taste also because here we are on a very high level, tasty, smoked just right, really mouthwatering. The Baked Potato Salad excellent, with nice firm potatoes, an overall creaminess and a nice pickled cucumber flavor. The Mac & Cheese mouthwatering!!! Creamy and savory. Perhaps the one I liked least was the Coleslaw, classic not particularly seasoned with a very pronounced cabbage flavor. The cost is absolutely in line the service as I said before very fast and very present. The place is very nice very quaint with ample space both inside and outside.
