A friend recommended Stiles Switch and I can say without a doubt, it doesn’t disappoint one bit. Simply great Texan barbecue and a must have if you’re in the Austin area. The vibe is great and the service is warm and friendly. As soon as you get to the order counter, you’re greeted with a big hello. The staff are great and know their stuff. They make good recommendations and serve up healthy portions of meat. I had the beef brisket and pulled pork with sides of potato salad and coleslaw. The slow cooked barbecue meat was very tender and flavorful. There was enough food for 2 meals so I had to pack leftovers. This is a place I’ll definitely come back and try some of their other meats on my next visit to Austin. THANKS STILES SWITCH FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY AND DELICIOUS BBQ!

Fantastic food! Apprehensive about the turkey, but I was reassured by one of the servers to not miss out on this meat. One of the best pieces of turkey I’ve had ever and I mean that. So juicy so succulent, if you ever go here please you must try the turkey, also had the beef brisket which was delicious. All the food here is absolutely tasty gorgeous and delicious.
Top-notch service we had to wait around about 15 minutes to be served since the queue was rather long but this is another reason as to why this place is so good. It gets busy at peak times but it’s worth the wait.
The parking is free and they have wheelchair access through double doors. This place is all about the meat, but they do have some vegetarian options. Most of the sides are vegetarian or vegan. But please proceed with caution as it’s mainly BBQ.

Visiting from out of state, and this is definitely spot for BBQ. The atmosphere is like no other, and the food is phenomenal. I ordered the brisket and jalapeño sausage with tater tot casserole, all of which were absolutely delicious. The restaurant staff were so personable and made our experience unforgettable. Thank you for the good times!

Stiles Switch might not have been our first choice for BBQ, but it was the RIGHT choice. All I have to say is… I can’t believe it took me this long to try them out.

Three of us stopped in for a Saturday lunch. The staff was SUPER friendly and got us through the line quickly.

We all split several items and loved each one. I honestly can’t say which things we liked more.

    MEATS
    – Pork Belly Burnt Ends (moist with a tasty side sauce)
    – Pimento Cheese Sausage (sausage of the month which deserves to be a menu staple honestly…
    – Pork Ribs (fell right off the bone)
    – Turkey (heavenly moist)
    – Brisket (super flavorful and moist)

    SIDES
    – Coleslaw (classic crunchy goodness)
    – Mac n’ Cheese (creamy shells, reminded me a lot of Velveeta which is super nostalgic for me)
    – Brussel Sprouts (spicy and crispy)
    – Tater Tot Casserole (cheesy and delicious)
    – Beans (Great flavor for being vegetarian)

Looking at their Instagram makes me want to go back regularly for all their amazing specials. Give them a try!

During a BBQ tour of Texas, I made a point to visit Stiles Switch BBQ, and they didn’t disappoint! The Smoked Pork Belly Burnt Ends were melt-in-your-mouth delicious and packed with flavour. The Serrano Fried Brussels Sprouts were cooked to perfection and I could easily eat a tub of it! The St. Louis pork ribs were also excellent, fall off the bone with every bite. While we were taking photos, they noticed us and asked if we’d like to visit the pits. “Hell ya!!!” We got to meet the pitmaster team and chat about everything BBQ. It was a wonderful experience, and we’re so glad we stopped by.
