One of the best casual fast food BBQ places. Everything is good as far as the bbq. I don’t care for their desserts. I stop in for the chop a baker at last once a month… sometimes more than I should. Breakfast tacos are great, but it’s not quick if you’re in a rush. Staff is always nice and the place is clean.
We ordered dinner on GrubHub: two baked potatoes w/ brisket and two salads with ranch. We only received one of the baked potatoes. Both salads were old, brown, wilted, and inedible and came with no dressing. The baked potato that we did get was cold and was closer to mashed potatoes. There are much better alternatives if you are looking for BBQ.
I adore the staff! I haven’t had BBQ in almost two years since I’ve moved abroad, and ordered it in advance for a family member to pick up for me before I arrived in town. That being said, I do not trust my family with my food, especially BBQ, so I requested that the bag is secure with something like staples, tape, double-knot, etc. Little did I know that staff would have fun with it. They truly went above and beyond for my order and I am very thankful for their help and entertainment. 🙂
Additionally, their ribs and jalapeño sausages really hit the spot!
Was excited to get a frito pie….the food portion value is why I come here but I was VERY disappointed with what I received!! 80% of the brisket was fat!!! I ate much of it until I kept noticing and pulled out the remaining pieces for this pic…EVERYTHING left was fat!!! Unreal!!! It bothered me when the cashier explicitly reminded me to review the questions on the touchscreen ….this money grab for tipping when showing up in store is ridiculous at these prices…you’re literally doing your job when I’m right there so I didn’t tip and was instantly fearful for what I would get. I was the ONLY person in the store with 3 employees and the fact they loaded up my $11 frito pie with chopped fat is unforgivable!! They weren’t busy and they knew what they were doing! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Absolutely a waste of money and time… i paid $25 for a meat plate.. and well, the picture speaks for itself… cold and gross as well as completely messed up my order. Sadly, i won’t return again for certain.
