The potato salad is good but the brisket is ok-ish (too much meat tenderizer might have been used). Good prices. Counter order. Cash only. Outside seating places only.

***Review on breakfast tacos only***
I got two with smoked sausage, egg, and cheese… Loaded to the brim, the tortilla won’t even close around it. So good too!
The sausage is link style smoked sausage, they do not have breakfast sausage or bacon, so don’t go looking for the more common breakfast taco items. Your choices are link sausage or ham, with egg and potato.
Cash only… Both cost me only $7, so worth it.
Lost one star due to the tortilla (not awesome), and they don’t make their own sauce (which is one of my favorite things about BBQ joints… gotta have a good sauce)
Atmosphere is a bit sketch (?)… But hey, It’s a barbecue shack with picnic tables… Rustic and homey at best. 😎✌ðŸ¼
It’s mainly filled with men getting food during the lunch break, but if you are a lady don’t shy away from this BBQ pit stop. The food is finger licking GOOD!! I ordered the loaded baked potato and it was so good I could not finish it. Parking maybe not the best if you have a low car, but other than that worth the drive. CASH ONLY!!!!
The reason we stop was because it looks like a cool place… So they close at 3 (understandable). We got there 40 minutes before closing, and the man selling the food told us, “we are about to close, so we need to wrap this up.” Meaning we were taking too long ordering, and he was annoyed with all the questions. Mind you, this is the first time we have ever eaten there.
We laughed it off thinking, he probably is behaving this way because he knows his food is awesome 👌.
NEWS FLASH! The bbq was not tasty. We love bbq and love to go eat at different BBQ places at least 3 times per month. The food we ate was chewy and lacked flavor and was not cooked long enough for the beef to melt in your month. And the sausage tastes like old grease. Rudy’s BBQ tastes better. And that’s because Rudy’s is not good.
Honestly, I do not like giving bad reviews, but sometimes people need to make others accountable for their behavior.
I got a chopped beef sandwich and the guy asked if I wanted pickles and onions which was nice of him. Super nice guy and was happy to help.
Chopped beef was really good!
