I stopped in for lunch yesterday, and I decided to sit at the bar. Ali was my barmaid. Not only is she gorgeous, but a five-star barmaid. She also makes a killer lemonade. I had the ribs and brisket combo. The ribs were on point, and the brisket was phenomenal. Most places slice their brisket to the point where you can read a newspaper through it, not here. The brisket was cut so you knew what you were getting. Perhaps the kitchen staff can go to other barbecue joints and show them how it's done. My sides were the greens and the mac and cheese. Both were delicious. I am looking forward to my next trip back to Austin. ☆☆☆☆☆

We came on a Saturday with a group of 11 from San Antonio. We had a reservation at 1:30pm (we would be ordering from the Weekend Lunch Menu) We got to the restaurant 10 minutes early, they had our table ready even then!👍🏾 We were seated and greeted. Very nice Ambiance. However they were out of the Fish and Grits (not sure what time Weekend lunch service starts since we got there at 1:30 and they were already out) several people in our group wanted the Fish and Grits and had to find something else. I, on the other hand ordered the Jalapeño salad with Lime chicken. It was a large portion and delicious 😋 All of the flavors worked so well together (the kale the lime and jalapeño🤌🏾). My sister started eating my salad it was so good. I even had enough to take some home with me. Over all it was a nice experience . We all left full and took naps on the ride home.

Just a simple 1 Meat lunch plate with Smoked Brisket, Slaw and Waffle fries. The dipping sauces with the fries was a nice added touch. Service and ambience was great. Recommend for a quick and delicious lunch while in Austin

Loved the visit. The pâté was great, served on fried brioche. The meat platter allows you to try brisket, pork ribs, and sausage, and there is enough food there for two. This is also true for the lemon pie; don't go and order two desserts unless you are really hungry. The lemon pie was huge.

Well shoot.... I honestly wasn't expecting this place to go so hard, but truth be told, it was an incredible experience. The bartender, whose name I can't recall (downstairs bar, Friday night 11/8) was one of my favorite bartenders I've ever had in Austin. Knowledgeable, busy but not rushed, super helpful, present, genuinely kind, and made a killer cocktail. Every course of food was truly mouth watering. The staff was working fluidly together, which led to us having wonderful service. We will definitely be back. Thank you Lambert's for setting such a high bar.
