I had an incredible experience at Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que! The food was absolutely delicious perfectly smoked meats with that authentic Texas flavor. The brisket was tender and juicy, and the ribs had just the right amount of smoky goodness.
What made my visit even better was the outstanding service. Jim, the bartender, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His drink recommendations were spot on, and he really added to the overall great atmosphere of the place.
If you’re looking for amazing BBQ and top-notch service, Cooper’s is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!
Incredible BBQ!!! Genuinely some of the best bbq ribs I’ve ever had, not kidding. They weren’t too tough or fall off the bone – perfectly cooked in the middle. Amazing brisket flavor (a little on the fattier side) and the chicken was very moist and well seasoned. Corn on the Cobb is very good, not to buttery or charred. No need for extra sauce of condiments for any of the meats. Quick in and out order/ pick up time.
We recently hosted a corporate event at Coopers BBQ in Austin and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, every detail was handled with the utmost professionalism and care.
The food was outstanding and tailored perfectly to our group’s preferences.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, courteous, and efficient, ensuring that everything ran smoothly without being intrusive.
A special thank you to the event coordinator, Ana, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Her organization, communication, and thoughtful planning made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host our event. Highly recommended for anyone looking to host an event.
Brilliant place with super friendly, welcoming staff. BBQ was great, with lots of free sides. Good choice of beers and cocktails. Definitely worth a visit (or two!)
There are so many restaurants in Austin I could’ve eaten at, but I chose Cooper’s because it’s close to Congress Ave Bridge, the downtown area, and the park. I am confident that I could not have made a better choice. Not only is the ambience very welcoming and unpretentious, but the food is amazing and the staff is great as well. We had pork ribs and jalapeño and cheese sausage with potato salad and green beans. I love that you can have all the onions and pickles you want as well as all the beans you can eat and the barbecue sauce is serve yourself and it’s kept warm. I also like That you have a variety of seating options. I like the community tables myself. There is also an outdoor eating area and a bar upstairs. I highly recommend this restaurant. Even with all the choices, you can’t possibly go wrong eating at Cooper’s.
