Ok now that I’m back to my place and can really put into words how much this plate blessed my soul.
I cannot get over the delicate, harmonious flavor of the smoked brisket. I do not like a smoke that over powers and this was such a delight to taste.
The meat is so moist and tender that even hours later, it tastes fresh, lively, and balanced.
I ordered the Big Vinny and that Sausage is savory, so moist, perfectly cooked, with the right crunch to the casing. I couldn’t get enough! (I’m kicking myself for not ordering 2 to go!! At $4 a piece it is so well worth it!!) I loved the sausage.
The beans! Such a beautiful sauce. Not too think, not too thick, just the right amount to bathe the beans, yet leave some for the bread.
The coleslaw, with that fresh Lemon zing was a great paring: I love my pickles, so I asked for extra, and added to the slaw was just the zing zing I needed in my mouth!!
I’m practically licking this styrofoam container over this meal, and I HIGHLY recommend that you stop here when you’re in the area.
I may just have to drive over two hours for this plate again…. Well worth the yumminess involved.

Honestly this is some of the greatest brisket I’ve ever had in my entire life. Not just that but the service was amazing, Big Vinny is one of the nicest restaurant owners I’ve met here in Austin and he always knows what he’s doing with his BBQ from brisket, ribs, to all the sides!! I 100% recommend if you’re looking for the best brisket for a reasonable price!
Brisket was really good and tender full of flavor. I loved the beans it had brisket in it too 😋 Potato salad was on point & the pork rib was my favorite. Definitely recommend 10/10 some pretty good Texas bbq!
