I understand the hype! The service was great. There's plenty of parking. If online ordering is done (and they're open), they'll accept a call in order. The portions are massive. I tried the pulled lamb, mac n cheese, collard greens and rice. The lamb well perfectly seasoned with spice and bold flavors. The peppers and onions are the perfect enhancement. The Mac n cheese was creamy. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the collard greens. The flavor was odd and there were too many stems. Can't wait to try other dishes!

The BBQ & Ethiopian food are equally delicious. We live in Far North Fort Worth & it's well worth the drive for this unique food & experience. We've been to both the old and new location & have had a friendly & gracious service in both. Sweet, family owned business. Highly recommend! 👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽😋

Out of town we here! Came in on a Thursday about 6pm only two party's there. The front service was excellent the food came out promptly which was a shock. We ordered the loaded bake potato and 2 meat combo. The loaded bake potato had to go back because it was lukewarm and tough on the sides "dry". 2 out of 5. The rib tips were decent and small and I ordered the chicken. Chicken was flavorful. The greens were a no for me. I've just never had them that way. The Mac and cheese were tasty. I viewed this on tik tok so of course I supported. Definitely a try I know the hype is real, so hopefully the next person thoroughly enjoys.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Smoke and Ash BBQ in Arlington definitely knows how to treat their customers. The service here was top-notch—my server was super friendly, offered samples of the sides before I ordered (a nice touch), and made some impressively strong cocktails that really hit the spot. Now for the food—while I was excited to try it based on all the buzz, it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The brisket was only mildly tender, and a few of the dishes just didn't have the flavor I was expecting. There's definitely a strong spicy kick across much of the menu, which I usually enjoy, but in some cases it overpowered the overall taste. The Ethiopian twist on BBQ is a cool concept and I respect the creativity, but to me it didn't fully blend with the more traditional BBQ flavors. That said, the star of the meal was the macaroni—it was creamy, cheesy, and packed with spice in all the right ways. Easily the best dish I tried.Overall, I had a good experience—amazing customer service, strong drinks, and a chill vibe. I'd come back, but it's not quite a 5-star spot for me just yet.

This is my second time here. Service is good and friendly. The food was good but better the first time. The greens were bland and the meats tasted less intense than the first time. I accidentally ordered the smaller platter but it still delivered on the different options that it has to offer. I drove 45 mins to visit here. I hope next time I come it feels like the first time. Last note; the butter cream cake was amazing. All the desserts looks amazing good. Don't forget to try it.
