I tried to give them another chance in hopes that maybe my taste buds were off the previous time, but I stand corrected, this place has the most tasteless food, the service is very vague. Our food came out as soon as we sat down after getting our drinks and washing our hands. It was so cold with piled up sour cream on it. I had to return it and ask for a hot plate. Omg we just left the food there, the meat was so dry and no seasoning. My husband and I tried this back about 3 or 4 yrs ago and the place was packed inside and out, it was absolutely delicious. We tried again last yr and it was trash, but gave the benefit of doubt being we arrived right b4 closing. I did notice that everything was different but paid it no mind. So we tried again today, awful. There were no cars in the parking lot, but decided to give it another shot. It was disappointing, no love put into the food like the previous owners. The barbecue sauce is sweet but very tasteless, the spicy sauce tasted just like the sweet one. Now I'm at home which is around the corner about 5 mins and on the toilet, as well as my son, I will nvr go back.

Great BBQ! No sauce needed! Smoke flavor is on point! Brisket burnt ends are candy! Cowboy corn is nail hitter replacement for a country western style elote! Pinto beans were great especially with the chopped brisket dipped in them, I like to mix things. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Even though I felt the brisket was a bit on the dry side, it was delicious. Everything we tried was delicious. Service was very friendly and atmosphere was nice.

Just picked up $167 order. Never in my life have I had brisket cut this poorly anywhere. Specifically asked for moist cut with bark. They sent moist cut with the bark completely cut off so there is no seasoning except for a couple chunks of fat that have bark but no meat. I called and the "cook/manager" was very rude and dismissive. He asked I drive all the way back there to bring him this horribly cut brisket with no flavor since he sliced off all the bark with the seasoning (and despite that is a health code violation to accept food back after given to customers). I still agreed to bring it back bc I didn't want to waste the money. I only asked for assurance if I drive back, letting the rest of this $167 order get cold, that the brisket be cut correctly, sliced evenly so that the meat, bark and fat are distributed. It was at that point he said he knew what he was doing (if he is the one who cut this I assure you he absolutely does not or simply didn't care) would provide no such assurance, and didn't have time for me. Providing such poor customer service in this economy after this business already had to close their other location is really risky but to each their own. I won't be back. That's too much money for terrible brisket and poor customer service in a run down restaurant who violates basic health code rules. This is TX, bad brisket should be a crime. We have way too many options to pay good money for this disappointment.

This place was one of my favorites. Seems like there has been some changes to the food. Cowboy corn tastes different but edible. The meat was super dry today. Whatever recipe or cooking method that was used previously for the sausage please go back because I used to make a drive for the sausage alone but t was disappointed as it was super dry. Baked potato was a bit undercooked.
