I’ve heard of 407 from others who have visited the area and knew I needed to make an effort to try it. I’m so pleased 407 came through! I had the brisket, jalapeño cheese sausage and ribs with sides of Mac & cheese and baked beans. What a treat! I was stuffed and took the rest to go for lunch tomorrow.
The atmosphere was friendly and staff fast to get my food out. It was hot and fresh. The patches on the wall indicate people visit from all over and leave a token of appreciation. Next time I’m in the area I will stop again for great BBQ.
We got the “Texas traveler” 2 1/2 lbs of meat and 4 small sides. Sorry for not getting a better picture of the brisket, but it’s the only picture we got before tearing it up. Definitely the best Brisket I’ve tasted in a while. Most places sell out or are to out of the way to get to. This one is an easy drive from anywhere in dfw. We’ve been working in argyle for a while now and we never miss a chance to stop for lunch here. I loved the brisket so much that my wife and I drove 107 miles from our house just so she could try it. Definitely worth the drive.
One of the best BBQ spots in Texas. Took some family from out of town and it was delicious. My uncle stated it was some of the best BBQ he’s ever had. Keep up the great work, a favorite of ours in the area.
Favorites were the ribs, jalapeno cheddar sausage, brisket, and banana pudding (not pictured)
Awesome BBQ place! Both their Brisket and pulled pork are as good or better than the more well known TX BBQ places (saltlick, rudys, blacks, etc). Their sides are excellent as well. I had the mac-and-cheese, beans and fries–all excellent. The atmosphere is “country barn” with both inside and outside seating. They also allow you to choose lean or moist brisket (as any self respecting TX BBQ would do) and have standard fountain drink options. We need one in south austin!
I’ve never had bbq until today. Hands down best brisket I’ve ever had period. (I got it wet)the cup of corn insane, baked beans on point ,turkey was good ,jalapeño sausage was good they didn’t have a fair chance with that brisket on the plate staff was friendly and accommodating absolutely nothing bad I can say about this place
