Oh my goodness! Great little place to visit! I ordered the one pound burger and fries and couldn't see and finish either! The hamburger was cooked as ordered and was delicious! Be prepared when you order fries! It's not just a couple of french fries! It's a plate full! We will come back!

The chicken fried steak is seriously the best I've ever had. The sides are phenomenal but will always be cold. Every time we've come they are cold. It deters us from coming more often which is a real shame.

Had the chopped Bar-B-Que. The chopped beef was perfect; the bun a little stale. Corn pudding was like dessert. Service great. I could've spent the afternoon looking at all the memorabilia.

We loved our food here today! The double burger was above our expectations and much bigger than expected and our fried shrimp and fish was amazing! Our server and the entire staff was very prompt and friendly. We will return.

I really wanted to give this place a good rating because it is touted as veteran owned and as a veteran myself, I support most everything veteran. However, unfortunately, the food fell short of even being on par with an average barbecue joint. I had a to meet plate with rib and brisket. I also had the potato salad and sweet potato casserole. The potato salad tasted like it came from Kroger and the sweet potato casserole was just off. The brisket was overdone and the ribs had a hint of anchovy flavor, or something similar. I must have gotten there close to closing time because the service was somewhat brisk. I will however say that the atmosphere was great. I really did enjoy that part of the meal.
