Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very clean. Brisket was expensive and seemed awfully tough. Catfish was flavorful. Sides were okay. Will be back soon. They are only open on the weekends. Get there early for the good cuts I guess.

It's rare to experience food cooked with love at a restaurant. However the Boyd's clearly love what they do. Everything was prepared and packaged well for a to go order.I had the fish plate with excellent portions and flavor. The Brisket sandwiches did not last long and no one was speaking until not a crumb was left. Chicken and Sausage plates are on the hit list for our next visit.

This little place is off the beaten path and not much for advertisement other than word of mouth but is well worth going to. Family owned business and bar none the best catfish I have ever had. Slaw, fries and onion rings did not disappoint either. We'll be back for some que and I'd imagine it will be just as good not to mention the staff is super friendly. Support your local small business and give this family a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed a lot of Q around SA and this tops the list for flavor and enjoyment! Family run by Annie Boyd and she's just a darling and wonderful host, hands on service and rightfully proud of what they've done, where, and why (see photo of their story). Three-meat is only $22 and so much food! Brisket, sausage and ribs all permeated with great seasoning and mesquite smoke, even though the bark is not overwhelming. Beans and potato salad also flavorful, not just sides. And gotta try Annie's desserts, but maybe at home, as you'll be full! Relaxed and quiet outdoor seating. Boyd's is way out on the east side, but worth the drive for the food and the small town feel...get to watch Randolph aviators while you eat too! Please support this wonderful business!
