Brisket and Turkey was amazing! Nice and moist not overly salty like other places in town. We had the jalapeño corn and the bacon ranch potato salad and both were delicious.

Horrible Horrible food...I have had better beef jerky. The brisket was super super dry The pork was cold. Macaroni cheese was hard and tasteless. The bite of Mexican corn was so salty I had to spit it out. Such a waste of money. Very very disappointing. We are not picky eaters. We had heard good things. But it was terrible. My husband is not one to complain but we definitely would not recommend to anyone.

There is plenty of parking.. open parking lot! Lots of handicap stops as well. We stopped in for lunch, and it was pretty busy.. There are plenty of tables.. I ordered the 2 meats brisket and turkey, so tender and juicy with 2 sides. The husband ordered the beef rib. omgosh, the taste on that rib was so deeeeelicious.. so big.. and it came with 2 sides.. everything was delicious ! Soo with the 2 hour drive.

Good barbecue...the Herc sammich is ridiculously large.Plenty of place to sit inside and outside and the service was pretty quick even given how busy the place was when we got there.

From the moment you pull up, it's clear that The Shed is not just a shed. With indoor and outdoor seating, the family atmosphere is apparent and the seating is ample. The service is counter order but all the food is on display and the meat cutters are nice enough to occasionally let a small taste make its way off the boards and into a tummy. All the meat is well smoked and can certainly be considered competition grade. Although there is no table service as such, but the staff are all pleasent and friendly. Two meals with drinks, no alcohol approx $ 35. We don't get to Abilene often, but can understand why it's a local favorite.
