NEVER AGAIN!! Food seems like it's just cooked DRY&BLAND. Who ever keeping this place in business needs help. Homemade bread is a Scam. They gave me 2 slices of HARD Butt bread(end of bread). 👎🏾 Btw I never leave reviews on nothing but this place earned it

The food is good. However the customer service sucks! I was on hold for 12 minutes thought they forgot about me then hung up and called back and same thing.... But this isn't the only thing that happened. This is completely at the south side location. One day I went to the drive through and there was a sign that said to pull forward because their ordering thing was down. When I got the window and you g girls was so rude to me and told me that "next time i needed to order from the kiosk thing" I told her there was a sign on it and she just ignored me and didn't make eye contact with me and just flat out rude to me. I told myself to never go back to that location again.... Bit here I am a couple months later getting put on hold indefinitely! It's a shame because I love the food. If they're that busy they need to hire more help! Or get some sort of technology where you can order online or something. Won't be going back at least for a while

Visiting the Abilene area and came here in a recommendation and also saw the restaurant listed on the visit Abilene website. My family and I went in about 5 pm. The staff was friendly and offered a few suggestions on what the customers say is the best they offer. Between all of us we ordered sliced brisket moist, turkey, jalapeno cheese sausage, ribs, and catfish. For sides, we ordered jalapeno corn, macaroni cheese, potato salad, and green beans. The best items we had were the catfish and the ribs. The turkey and sausage were run of the mill, nothing special. The brisket was dry and not very tasty at all. The sides were disappointing to say the least. Almost everything was sweet even the jalapeno corn. The potato salad was a sweet mayo based variety that I could only eat one spoonful of. The only thing that we thought was halfway decent was the green beans and they weren't anything I would write home about. All the breads are wrapped in foil and kept in a warmer. Because of this, the breads are moist and not in a good way. The thing that bothered us the most is the food was lukewarm to cold. Overall, we were disappointed in our meal and won't be visiting or recommending this place to anyone.

The brisket was mouth-watering. The beans, macaroni and cheese, and jalapeño corn were great. Our only issue was that the Mac and Cheese was not warm, although I'm sure they would've heated it up had we asked. Either way, it was great. The people were absolutely wonderful. We even had a customer tell us the best thing to order because she goes there weekly for lunch and she was right. Loved it and will definitely go back when I'm in Abilene.

Very much enjoyed going here. In our group, we got the Burger w/Fries, Stuffed Potato and the Chicken Quesadilla. The food was so good. They have lots of seating and the decorations were nice. We went back the next day so I could get a picture of the front and a man came out to see what I was doing. I told him how much I enjoyed eating there and that I wanted to add the picture to my review. He didn't respond, just stood there watching me. That was weird and uncomfortable. I deleted the picture and I even debated writing a review, but the food was so tasty and I still have those pictures. So...... 5 stars for the women working at the register and the food. 0 stars for the man that made me feel like I was doing something wrong.
