The worst BBQ in Texas! 🤭 okay y'all this is the spot for a good good brisket any baby ribs. The vibe is 1950s gas station with a restaurant mood. The open sitting is comfy and friendly. Just gotta warn y'all everything is expensive but worth it.

Usually, food and service are good. Today, we ordered brisket that was so dry, it sucked the saliva out of my mouth and left me choking. For the price, the meat should have been a lot better. Very disappointed and still hungry as this was not edible.

0 out of 5 starsThis was a total waste of money. We spent $45 on a pound & a half of brisket at Rudy's BBQ on Westover Hills, & what we got was mostly fat at least 80% —nothing close to quality. Honestly, it wasn't even good enough to feed our dogs.On top of that we had to wait forever just to place the order. That kind of service & product at these prices. Even my military discount didn't make a dent. Never again.

1 out of 5 stars, if I could leave a zero I would.I'm seriously disappointed. I went to Rudy's BBQ on Westover Hills Blvd & spent $45 on a pound & a half of brisket—only to get home & find it was almost entirely fat. That's not just a letdown, it's ridiculous. When you pay that much, you expect quality meat, not scraps that should've been trimmed off in the kitchen. Gross. To make matters worse, the "Back to Go" order section was closed—on a Friday night, no less—so we had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to pick up food. Poor service, overpriced fatty brisket, & unnecessary hassle. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Rudys! As a Brit trying out American smokehouse food, this was fantastic. We came with family who informed the staff we had never been. Staff were very friendly and gave us many tasters of the foods, (10/10 service)The meats were really really good, we loved them. The dry brisket was so good, sausages too, my favourite was the chopped brisket and turkey in a bbq cup portion, it was to die for. The ribs were quite chewy so not my go-to. The sides were pretty good too, but the mac and cheese was quite dry , it needed a lot more sauce in my opinion. Potato salad was yum, the coleslaw was crunchy, perfect and went so well with the meats and bbq sauce. My clothes had a lingering smell of smokehouse which made me crave rudys again 😆 a must go-to spot!
