Potato salad was great, but after that all down hill. Ribs were 90% burnt char with minimal meat, brisket luke warm at best and BBQ sauce tasted scorched. Mac N Cheese looks amazing but has 0 taste and room temperature. Rice looked well seasoned and promising.. epic fail yet again tasted day old and seasoning was definitely off to the taste. The beans were nice and hot but somehow had no flavor or taste to them like 0 seasoning in them. Service was decent except when ordering they didn't ask what kind of meat we wanted and had to correct when they just started forming brisket plates for both of us. For a combined $40 for 2 individuals to eat I expected WAY more flavor and food quality. Definitely not sure how they keep going and will not be returning.

I had ribs & sausage. The sausage was about one step above a hotdogs and the ribs tasted like they were cooked in a crockpot. There was not a hint of smoke, not sure how they can call it "Hot Pit BBQ". Baked beans were bland, and the coleslaw was meh. Food was cheap, and service was okay, but probably one of the most disappointing BBQ experiences I had in Texas. I've got better BBQ at the Dallas Airport. My favorite part of the meal was sopping up the BBQ sauce with the Texas toast. 😕

Thanks so much Olga! My aunt made sure we stopped here while I'm visiting from Colorado. Whether you're a local or just visiting Del Rio, this is the spot for some great BBQ and great service. My family is a regular here and I will of course be stopping back again the next time I am here in Texas. Thank you!

Amazing! The staff are so sweet. The food was better than Rudy's by a lot, in my opinion. The Turkey was so moist, the poppers are huge and wrapped with thick back on and a small layer of brisket. I think the price is very fair, and I can't wait to go back.

Very clean and large sitting area. Food was just OK. I usually like ribs Better that brisket, but they were almost out of the ribs so they didn't taste so good. Brisket a little dry. Cole slaw was very fresh and tasted really good. Corn was buttery and delicious.
