The ribs were pull apart tender, and the pulled pork was nice and juicy, but the chicken was a little bit dry. The Coleslaw was a tasty side dish and the Mac and cheese was heavenly. Over all 4 out of 5 meal, just wish I would have grabbed more sauce on the way out after picking up the order.

I had the 2 meats/2 sides. The smoked chicken was delicious and so was the jalapeno sausage. These meats were great even without a sauce. The greens beans are good, but the potato salad is outstanding. This is a husband and wife team. Look out Hard 8!

We saw this place on our way to a store and had to try and let me just say... the food, the service and the owners are out of this world kind, caring and soooo super friendly! We absolutely 💯 fell in love with this place and as avid restaurant people, we will definitely be going back again to this BBQ place! Highly recommend 👌 👍

I had ordered from Fat Cow BBQ. We had their ribs, brisket , spicy pinto beans and corn as sides. The ribs fell off the bone and had flavor , the brisket was chopped which was new to me. The spicy pinto beans was flavorful and had good flavor of jalapeno. The corn was ok. Surely a 'might try again' place.

We visited Fat Cow BBQ because of the positive Google reviews. According to the menu, Fat Cow has won the Best of Denton County every year 2015 - 2019. After tasting the brisket, we understand why. The chopped and sliced brisket has a wonderful smoky flavor. No BBQ sauce needed. I order the 1 meat plate with 2 sides and a roll. My dining companion ordered the sandwich and 2 sides. Very flavorful and a good value. We highly recommend brisket along with the Mac & cheese, baked beans, and Cole slaw sides. During our visit, most customers seemed to be regulars (based on how the owner greeted them) and ordered a 1/2 pound of meat and a side. The sandwich bread and rolls are tasty and fresh, but I'm going with the 1/2 pound meat at my next visit. The restaurant has a nice rustic decor, located at the end of a strip shopping center. Definitely worth a visit.
