I'm about to write a long and very very honest review. First of all , ignore the location , we felt safe walking in here. When we walked in , we were greeted by the daughter. the daughter's hospitality was keeping the mood for me.We were able to order a grilled cheese off menu for my picky eater (thank you a million , you have no idea how hard it is to take him places, and he was so thankful to eat with us )When we sat down , I was concerned seeing food warmers. But they showed me that , that doesn't matter Because the food came out tasting fresh and hot !!The mom was a blessing and so friendly and kind. The dad ( papa Jack ) was putting love into every plate he made . ( you can literally watch him in the back make every plate himself ) The daughter was also just so nice .The benches hurt my legs , but let me tell you , I'd sit on those benches everyday of my life and you should too.I really don't know what was better , the food or the family. I wanted to stay and talk for forever.We were advised to come back for their once a month Sunday cooking . (Every 1st Sunday of the month )We will be there and try to come back as much as possible .Skip the chain places and hit this local bbq joint.I hope god continues to bless them over and over a million times.Love , your newest family ❤️Quoted directly from the mama " every one that comes in here is family "

Excellent spot in all aspects. I passed through town the other day while working and tried it. The food is top tier, I got the brisket, ribs, and turkey with Mac n cheese and potato salad. All were really excellent. The place is family run and had the friendliest folks. Believe me when I say there's a reason this is a 4.9 with so many reviews. They live up to the hype!!!

EAT HERE NOW! Real talk, this is seriously a diamond in the rough. Everything was amazing. The pit master was interacting with the customers and was very friendly. Brisket, Chicken, Beans, Smoked Cabbage (try it!) were all fantastic. This is the true heart and soul of what BBQ is! I will stop here every time I visit Waco from now on, and will tell everyone I know to eat here too.

My 1st time went here, absolutely met with nice people and nicest employers there. It runs by family! They explained to me with patience and professionally since my first time here.
