I asked for a 3 meat plate for to go, and when I came back to my car, I had just two. Then I came back and they kindly added the missing meat. Then I left and when I got home I realized that half brisket was just fat, when I specifically requested to get lean brisket. The flavor is good but too many issues. Thank you though

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch. The portions are big! I ordered the brisket nachos and they were SO good! My husband got a sliced turkey sandwich that came with onions and pickles on the side: he said it was GREAT after he added some barbque sauce to it. They have a happy hour that we were not aware of but glad to hear about. 5 stars!

Real Texas BBQ inside of a Grocery store. Went to HEB but, I was a bit Hungry. So, I stopped to eat at True Texas BBQ inside the store at the entrance. I went in not knowing what to expect. Surprisingly it was a full blown out BBQ Restaurant inside that even offers Ice Cold Glasses of Beer. The menu is Huge Brisket sandwiches, plates dinners, Desserts, and several tasty sides. I ordered the sliced Beef brisket sandwich which if you Texas Size it for $4 more they double the meat to make it even more mouth watering. I also chose a side of Mac n Cheese which was Hot n Creamy but to me a bit salty. I really enjoyed my meal and when I am back through here I plan to enjoy more Texas BBQ!

For being inside a grocery store, it was actually quite good. Convenience is the best trait—which means almost no wait. Taste was good. Needs the barbecue sauce. Mac was a little overcooked. Tea was good. Can't beat the price. Perfect for an anytime snack. There's even a little sitting area.
