Rhonda was the one who took care of us, and she was just phenomenal! We drove from New Jersey to Fort Stockton, Texas, to try authentic Texas BBQ, and as first-timers, she was very kind and patient in explaining the different types of meat to us. The overall experience was amazing, and I highly recommend this place! Great prices, and I suggest trying the cold Lone Star beer. Don't miss the opportunity to come here!

This is a must try if you're in the area. GREAT bbq. I really think that Beef tastes better in Texas. Everything was good. The rub is delicious , meat was very tender and sides were from scratch. On Friday's they offer a Brisket rib that weighs 1 1/2 lb. I really appreciate good service so I can't forget to mention the lady named Beverly who takes the order. She was very friendly and Excellent recommendations. Anytime I'm in the area, I will stop here to eat again.

Rhonda took my order and did a great job of either up selling me or saving me money (I guess depends how you look at it lol) I ended up taking her recommendation of the el jefe sandwich. It was my fault for telling her I was hungry. This thing is a ton of meat! It was so good. Rhonda came and checked on me while I ate and told me she would get me a to go box if I needed it. I took that as a challenge and refused the box. I am man, I eat meat! Here i sit in pain trying to force it down just to not have to go admit defeat and ask for a box. I had a great experience and it's nice to get good service. That has been hard to find as of latley. Good job Rhonda!

I had an amazing experience at true Texas barbecue inside H-E-B in Midland, Texas SHOUT OUT to cashier Rhonda. She was super polite, very generous and helped us to decide ultimately and try the beef rib. The beef rib was cooked to absolute perfection for being the very first beef rib we have ever tried. It was absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Darlene the lady at the register is the sweetest. Food is delicious. We drive in from El Paso to come to THIS HEB and to have this BBQ. Always a hit. Nicest store in Midland. Macaroni and cheese is def made with love.I get one meat brisket plate. Hubby gets sausage sandwich.
