It was empty and around closing on a Monday night. Normally, that's a red flag for me, but I had tried one of their locations, and I knew the food should be good. We walked in, placed our order of baby back ribs and brisket with sides and a to go order, we then had a seat. Within a few minutes, our food was heading to our table. Everything looked good, tasted delicious, and the meat was exceptionally tender. The baby back ribs fell off the bone tender and very meaty. The brisket was juicy with just the right amount of fat. Fried okra, mac and cheese and beans we're all a nice compliment. This place did not disappoint.Update: second visit and still a totally empty house except for a large party in what looked like a banquet room. Like my first visit, the food was exceptional. This time, I tried the banana pudding, and unlike most places, it actually had real bananas in it. It was delicious. Brisket, ribs, sausage, green beans, baked beans, potato salad, and cheesy mac and cheese were the best. The corn bread was a sweet honey cake like flavor and consistency. My new favorite place to go.

This was my family and I first time eating here. We ordered the bake potato w/brisket, chopped beef sandwhich with fries, baby back ribs, pinto beans, banana pudding, and a brownie. We we're skeptical of trying something new, but we were glad we did. All of food was hot and fresh!!! We will definitley be back. Good BBQ is hard to find! I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the desserts.....

The bbq was decent. The place was empty, and I was a little concerned. The way the restaurant was set up was awkward. The front door was around the building, and you have the park in the back of the building, but let's talk about the food the fish was OK. Everything looked amazing it just didn't have enough flavor. The cornbread was good.

Decent BBQ with good portions. Service was fast. Brisket and pulled pork were good but the jalapeno sausage was chewy. Definitely will skip the Cole slaw for a different side next time as didn't have much flavor.

Hey Howdy Hey!!! Are you looking for some great tasting BBQ today??? If so, then you must visit The Brisket House! When my son told me that he was coming home on leave from the Navy and that he wanted some good 'ol Texas Down-South, Mouth-Watering, Lip-Smacking, Finger-Licking BBQ, I instantly thought of this place because it is all that and more! This is my second visit to this establishment and I must say that I find it quite surprising that this place is not jumping with loads of customers whenever I visit. The BBQ here is full of delicious, savor-able, flavorful, and delectable goodness!!! My family and I truly enjoyed ourselves as we celebrated my son's return home while conversing, laughing, and getting fat-full of their appetizing and tantalizing BBQ.The brisket was tender, moist, and juicy. My son ordered the chopped beef sandwich combo with fries and it was loaded with chopped beef. They were very generous with it. The BBQ chicken, pulled pork, loaded baked potato, BBQ wings, and fried catfish were all equally delicious! This place does not miss a beat. The cornbread was huge and sweet like a piece of cake and the sides were splendid as well. The collard greens are full of flavor, the fried okra tastes like fresh okra and not frozen and is fried to perfection, the Mac and cheese is cheesy deliciousness done just right not watery and loose but a semi-thick cheesy sauce, the BBQ beans were flavorful but a little on the cold side, and the fries are seasoned well, not too salty but just right. So the only complaint from one of my family members is that her beans were served cold instead of hot and my daughter complained that her BBQ chicken was served cold as well. Other than those two small fumbles, everything was perfect! Oh and their BBQ sauce is absolutely delicious! However, I have to take away one star and give them a four-star rating, because it's absolutely imperative that cooked foods are served at the correct temperatures to keep customers from getting sick.Service was great! Our main server was Raya and she was amazing. Her personality was cheerful, friendly, and welcoming! She took care of all of our needs and brought our food out to us with help from some of the other staff members. We were seated in their private party room area which was extremely spacious and clean! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for some good 'ol Down-South Texas BBQ! You will not be disappointed! The prices are reasonable and they have a variety of food combinations and selections ranging from their 1-meat, 2-meat, and 3-meat plates, bbq sandwich combos, kids meals, tailgate packages, desserts, sides, and more! Parking is plentiful and is located in the back of the restaurant.
