The stump is a favorite weather you live at the lake or visiting from out of town! it's close proximity to lake access and camping spots make it a great addition to travelers. Great food and service and if you have a problem the owner usually isn't far from the front door.

Decided to take the family out and try their steak night! What a complete joke and waste of money! I ordered a medium rare steak, grilled vegetables( which i never received till we was leaving) potato salad and a salad bar. My wife ordered a ribeye steak medium well. My steak came out well done, burnt, dry, and very tough to chew. My wife's steak came out the same way. After we brought it out to the waiters attention was never offered to make it right or re cook another steak or anything. My daughter's steak fingers was also burnt. Was told that there was nothing they could do to make it right cause Mike said. We ended up paying $120 for food we couldn't even eat and still left hungry. This is a absolute disgrace and a waste of money. Needless to say we will not be coming back and honestly doesn't recommend this place to anyone. You would think if you pay $29.95 for a steak you would be able to enjoy it somewhat but the only thing that will enjoy it is the dogs.

Good, fresh American fare with good customer service, very near the most beautiful part of Lake Sam Rayburn. The price was commensurate with the food or even a little on the inexpensive side, so good value. Will definitely return!

Great food. Great service. Very peaceful even with the crowds of people. Everyone was so quiet and happy.
