First time visiting... I'm hooked on the make a bowl !!! AMAZING and so filling , people were awesome helping me to pick something everything looked good and smelled so good.. place was clean and people were friendly "customers" even met Owen a gentleman from a small town in Illinois next to where I lived.. small world ðŸŒŽ had enough food for lunch the next day and it heated up nice in microwave..

This Isn't Brisket. It's an Embarrassment. What Soulman's sold me today was not barbecue. It wasn't even food, in my opinion. I ordered two pounds of brisket, and what I got looked—and tasted—like boiled cafeteria meat.There was no bark, no smoke, no seasoning, and the fat was gelatinous and revolting. Just look at the photo. That's not a rare bad batch—that's a total failure in meat selection, preparation, and quality control. It looked like it was steamed in a plastic bag, not smoked in a pit.I've had bad brisket before, but this? This takes the crown. Soulman's should be ashamed to serve this to paying customers. If this is how they treat their Sunday meat, they might as well close shop on weekends altogether.Go anywhere else. This was a waste of money, time, and appetite. I'll never be back.

Soulman's is the place for some good BBQ! They have a huge menu with a wide variety of foods to choose from. From BBQ plates, sandwiches, BBQ baked potatoes, BBQ bowls and fried catfish plates and a large variety of southern home style sides! This was my first visit and I ordered the Boss Hog Sandwich. With BBQ brisket, pulled pork, BBQ sausage, smoked ham and bacon with a side of beans, this is a full meal between buns! The other folks in our party really enjoyed the BBQ ribs and BBQ baked potatoes. Exceptionally large portions at good prices and free soft serve ice cream cones after you eat. Service couldn't get any better!
