I'm disappointed... the meal lacked flavor. I think I got what they just had available. I ordered greens, mac & ribs for one meal and then turkey tips and baked beans for the other meal. I did receive a call telling me they didn't have any turkey tips so I asked what meats and settled with leg qtrs. I was really looking forward to my greens with the mac but they gave me baked beans instead. Without the sauce the ribs lacked flavor. Food didn't look or taste the freshest. I ordered lemon cake and got Sweet Potato cake, but I'm allergic. Now I did call back and they offered to refund the cake & greens. I said ok. After trying it, it's just overall a bad experience and poor quality. I guess that's what the price you pay when you get it delivered. I might try this place again, but not on delivery. $56 wasted. It's too expensive out here to be throwing money away. I'm so disappointed, I'm still hungry.

To those who are ordering from Too Good to Go - to give anything less than a 4 star unless you had the worst experience possible, is really just rude as hell lol. It's literally more than Half Off the regular prices, and you know going into it that you don't know what you're going to get!I will say, the meat on top was dry. Again, part of too good to go is agreeing that you are "saving" food so it doesn't get thrown out. I was a little sad I didn't get Mac n cheese or the sweet potatoes or carrots as a side. But I paid $9.99 for this and the meat alone is well worth that price. If you want something else then you can always order and pay extra for it.Good flavor. Bbq sauce is bomb. Prompt and kind people working.

I ordered online thru To Good To Go, and was not expecting what I walked in to. This little gem is a small red building that I've probably driven by 100 times. I was instantly greeted by the delicious smell of BBQ, and by Big Al, who runs the place. I immediately recognized a kind soul, and a man excited not just about the food he serves, but also about a level of service and hospitality that can only be outshined by his big beautiful smile. Big Al and I spent a good 20 minutes talking about Rosako and his service to our country and resulting family life that lead to the creation of his restaurant. We chatted about Big Al's home of New Orleans, good food, and the ways Rosako's gives back to the community and our Veterans. I was touched to my very soul. I went over every piece of the menu with Big Al, having found in him another foodie to share my love with. I wanted to try a little of everything on the menu, but settled for adding some ribs, collared greens, black eyed pea salad (cowboy caviar) and banana pudding to my existing order that had chicken thighs, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese and smoked sausage. Everything was AMAZING! Even my kids loved it! The portions were generous, and everything tasted like it was graced by the love and SOUL put into it by Big Al and Rosako himself. I will definitely be coming back again and again. I left with my giant haul of food, after giving Big Al a hug. Until we meet again! I gone Rosako's 11 out of 10!!!!

Best dressing ever! Like wow!!!!!! My mouth salivating thinking bout it!! Greens was banging! Like best greens I've ever had! Glad they don't have meat in them because I'm vegetarian. Love the black eye pea salad! The yams delish! Only thing I don't like is they be out of a lot of their food because they cater in mornings or I'd give 5 stars.

I appreciate the hustle. It was a one-man show when I showed up. There was a small line. I'm guessing Rosako himself was doing everything--taking orders, fixing up meals, answering questions. He has a wonderful vibe--he was calming and all the while working fast. It's definitely a dive, but they are hustling with specials for veterans and seniors. They really need to up the food game. The chicken was okay. The bbq sauce is the star of the show. I definitely wished for much more of that. The collard greens weren't flavorful; they were not like my gran used to make. And the Mac and cheese was so bland it had no cheese taste at all--just plain noodles. Definitely not like my mama's. Rosako seems like a great guy, but the food just isn't that good. Did love the longhorn painted on the wall.
