I had heard Roegels has the best reuben in town (only on Thursdays), so I had to try it when I could finally get over there for lunch on a Thursday. Maybe it was overhyped, but it did not live up to expectations. Service was great. There's a line, but it moves quickly. The meat comes in nice thick cuts and is well-smoked. It tasted fine combined with the sauerkraut, Russian dressing, and cheese, but the meat was dry. Not sure if you can see it in the picture, but I confirmed when trying some of the meat by itself that it was dry. The bread is nicely toasted. Overall, the portion is modest. Not entirely fulling or satisfying for the price.

Stopped in for a quick sandwich. I ordered a "wet" (moist) Chopped Beef and also go a side of Mac n Cheese. When I went to tell the counter that my sandwich was DRY, they just kind of looked at me and said no, it was moist and was cut from the 'moist' side. Then they just gave me TOTALLY BLANK STARES. I've been eating BBQ forever. I know the difference. It's just frustrating that they didn't even bother looking at the meat. But it certainly looks DRY to me!!!

I cannot and will not ever stop talking about this place and singing it's praises!! The food is literally to die for; you can taste the creativity and love that the staff injects into their work! As if the food alone wasn't enough to brag about but the people behind the counter are genuinely amazing too! Every time I come here, I leave a happier person! Great food! Had the brisket and pork ribs. Both were tender and flavorful. A bit over spiced in the bark. Let the BBQ do the talking. Sides were good and the pickled veggie bars was good.
