Honestly disappointed. I got ribs and brisket and didn't like either and it costed $50. The ribs tasted like they were cooked in the oven and then they drenched it in bbq sauce. Brisket was super dry with hardly any smoke flavor, like they used liquid smoke flavoring versus actually smoking them, and I'd say the same about the ribs as far as flavor. I should've known better when I walked in the building and didn't smell any kind of smoke. This is bbq flavored meat, not actual bbq.

Wow. Fabulous food, great service !!! Definitely can not find BBQ like this back home in PA !!! I don't know what's in that special sauce for the haymaker sandwich but I could have drank it !!! Had to ask for extra, just so we could dip our sausage in it too !!! Frito Pie was super flavorful, loaded with all the good stuff. Crispy slaw, and we had both types of beans [pinto and baked] delicious !!! If you are ever in Tyler, this is a MUST. If I'm ever back, I will be here too !!!

Just bad. Got the Atomic potato and she said it had 2 meats, so I said pulled pork and sausage. She was confused behind the counter, I guess, the owner came out after she called him and then she told him what I was getting and he told her to charge me 2.00 for the sausage. I asked why was I charged 2.00 and she was like he switched the chopped beef for pulled pork. I was like pulled pork is cheaper than beef. So frustrated with this place. Let's just say NEVER again.

This is the only local place I'll order ribs from. The best in town. In my 15+ visits for take out, I've never had a bad experience. The prices IMO are a little on the high side, so I only go once every few months. Probably a good thing for my waist line. The brisket has always been moist and fall apart tender. It's not as smoky as some other places, but I love the tenderness of it. I also really enjoy the slightly spicy Mac and cheese.

Hands down the WORST Ribs I've ever eaten, they were definitely not fresh one was still cool and they were covered in a horrible sauce on top of the hard inedible outer layer. My oldest daughter thought the ribs tasted like dog treats and my youngest said they smelled like fish. The Mac n Jack was just OK as we're the baked beans and the baked potato. It took over 30 minutes to receive our food which at a BBQ place in my mind indicates too much use of the microwave. Definitely will not be back!
