They were cool. Food was good. The only real gripe is how they distribute their food. I'm used to places that just ask you how many pounds of "x" you want. Beans were surprisingly delicious. I didn't expect much from them, so it was a nice touch. We ordered enough for 10 people (8 adults and 2 children) and will definitely go back

Nov 2024 - we've driven by here hundreds of times saying, "we need to try this place." We'll, today we did... it was good we liked it very much. And we'll be back bc our son just moved into an apt complex just down the street. It wasn't crowded, so the service was good, no wait. The food came out quickly. The atmosphere was typical of a BBQ joint in Texas. However there were lots of TV with college football on which was a ++. We both had the 2 meat plate... me brisket & sausage... wife brisket & chicken. All of it had good flavor and taste great. Like I said... we'll be back.

Ordered to go and loved their drive thru experience. It was so easy and convenient. Now on to the food, we got the 2 meat plates (brisket, pulled pork, a spud with everthing on the side instead of two sides for one, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese for the other) and hush puppies with fries. I really enjoyed the hush puppies with the brisket in it. I was full after that but did try a little bit of everything else and it was delicious, moist, and flavorful.

This was my first try of Red River BBQ & Grill. I went in the early evening between lunch and dinner. I had the combo baked potato with brisket and pulled pork. Although both meats had good smoked flavor, they were dry and the temperature of the baked potato and both meats were luke warm to room temperature.

There's mostly an older crowd of customers but that's not bad, it's quiet! However the food is meh. The brisket was dry and had little to no flavor, I had to drown it in bbq sauce to even come close to liking it. The Mac and cheese was bad and tasted old, same with the potato salad. The only good thing was the salad. Nonetheless, the manager was really amazing when I sent my plate back and she was totally understanding and even offered me something else !!
