It's a good place to eat, in general the food is good, they have good portions, but there was just one detail, a part of my brisket was cold and dry.

Omg good! I don't know why it's taken us so long to try this place out. Food is reasonably priced. I had pepper jack chicken, broccoli cheese rice, and green beans. The chicken was piping hot, but my sides were luke warm. The chicken and broccoli dish were delicious. The green beans, however, lacked any flavor. My hubby had the country fried steak with okra and Cole slaw. He said everything was delicious. The salad bar was yummy with plenty of fresh choices. One thing I did notice was the Workers we interacted with weren't very friendly. We wanna go back to try steak night soon.

When out of town we like to try things we can't get back home. Smoked meat is near the top for me when away, Red River did not disappoint. I had the brisket with mac n cheese and Mom's potato salad. The brisket was great with flavor and a deep smoke ring, mac was okay and the potato salad was on point. Oh, and the yeast roll just topped it all off.

I always enjoy eating here at Red River Bar-B-Que. The interior is beautifully decorated with mounts of deer, moose, trout, and pheasants. The atmosphere feels like an outdoor one, with all the taxidermy and images of fishermen. The food is incredible. I usually order a bacon cheeseburger or the Smokehouse burger, both of which are delicious, but I decided to switch things up a bit this time. I ordered the peanut butter cut brisket with macaroni and cheese and potato salad. This meal was great; I couldn't finish it all, as the portion was large and the food was filling. The brisket was tender and tasted amazing when paired with the barbecue sauce. The sides acted as a nice complement. My mother ordered the chicken fried steak, which she said tasted great. The breading could be a little crispier but the meat was tender. Overall, you should come here if you're in the area. It will be an experience that will leave you feeling happy.
