Whenever I'm in Central Texas, I stop for some barbecue. I have never had this place before so I wanted to give it a try. It is not bad barbecue but it's not thebest. If you're looking for a quick middle of the road type barbecue spot you found a place. But if you're looking for an amazing pitmaster, true Texas barbecue smokehouse, They miss the mark. The people were great and very pleasant and respectful. maybe it was a bad day or not. But one must remember that barbecue must be fresh and not have a leftover taste to it.

This barbecue is delicious and we enjoyed our team dinner here. The service was very friendly and fast. There were lots of different sides and I love the fact that you could have dry brisket or fattier brisket.

Love going here. A turkey and sausage combo sandwich is my go to. Always get the okra too. This place is so good even the okra is happy. Todd

The brisket was tender and the portion size was good, but I found everything I ate -- brisket, green beans, and mac and cheese -- bland. Also, the sweet tea was watered down. I estimate that I paid maybe 10% less here than I would have paid at a non-chain bbq place in the area for the food I got, but the value was A LOT lower. My experience was ok, but I'd rather pay a tiny bit more for much better food.

We went to PoK-e-Jo's for a food tasting for our upcoming wedding. The food and service were amazing! We worked with Mona, her customer service was incredible! Extremely professional, communication was great, and she was very pleasant to work with both via email and in person! We tried a bunch of stuff, like chips, salsa, guacamole, queso, pineapple salsa, and black bean salsa. All of it was really good. We also had the grilled cheese (both the basic and the brisket version), which were both great. For the meats, we had chicken, brisket, ribs, sausage, and turkey. My favorites were the ribs, brisket, and sausage. We also tried all the sides! The best were the potato salad and mac and cheese.I highly recommend this place!
