You have got to check out this HIDDED GEM...OMG...AMAZING FOOD. DON and Team (Daughter) have made a breakthrough in figuring out how to smoke brisket. Did I tell you Don has his own TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU SECRET GRIND Special Sausage. He won't tell you how he gets it so lean, juicey and flavorful....Damm, he gave me the impression he was a SECRET AGENT in another life....ps, try the sausage grind with spicy pepper and smoked cheese.....recommend you load up your Ford Bronco....we came through on a Sunday, a Large Dirty Rice (Tuesday with broiled salmon), Wensday sliced beef brisket with his smoked chicken.....FRIDAY/THURSDAY.....WAIT for it....DON'S smoked sausage for....LOUISIANA (via Detroit)...Gumbo....I called Carlos and Linda for help with the Roux. Great joint@@!...have the GPS ready to find it...

The staff is ok, u get a good amount of food for the price, the smell is AMAZING but the BBQ ain't BBQing.....Real fatty meats, greasy and no taste. Got the brisket and ribs (3 meat plate). The mashed potatoes were not mashed, more like pureed with chopped beef on top of it. There was nothing dirty about the dirty rice and the strawberry cheesecake was just frozen strawberries from the freezer section and no bake cheesecake mix in a bowl. This is only my opinion, try it out if u like and leave ur own review. As for my cousin and me, ours went to the trash.

Wow, that barbeque sounds amazing! Who cares if I cannot speak for the whole state of Texas? This Longview's Mo'Phat is working some magic! I am saying the brisket was prepared with respect? I can practically taste the care they took to make it fresh and full of flavor. Sounds like the ideal combination of smokey sweetness and bark that sings its own melody. What about the ribs? Do not even get me started! I'm sure it'll be fall-off-the-bone delicious. Every bite is a symphony of flavorful delight. And then there's the dirty rice, the ultimate comfort dish that soaks up all of the smokey drippings. Even after you've had your fill of the rest of the meal, this is pure heaven.Let me tell you, if I ever find myself in Longview, there's no doubt where my first stop will be, Mo'Phat Smoke Shack, here I come! You've painted a picture of a barbecue dream, and I gotta experience it for myself. Keep it up!Love from Malaysia
