Went on a Sunday morning and there was no wait, all the food was fresh and the service was great. The burger was amazing, good fries and onion rings and my husband days good things about the chopped beef sandwich. We'll definitely do again if in/ driving through Navasota.

Met an ol' friend for lunch at Mallett Brothers BBQ. Lots of options, delicious, decent portions but might of been slightly larger portions of meat (my only very minor critique), comfortable dining room, good decor, lots of local awards, definitely well worth checking out for yourself. My guessnis you'll like it; good stuff, good place!

Catfish delicious. Shrimp large but not very good. Crab cakes almost didn't get. They were surprised I wanted it. It was advertised on the dish I ordered. There were 2 employees that squeezed I between our group. Just to go out the back patio walk area. Never apologized or anything. The restaurant sat us there not our choice of area.

Drove from College Station to finally check this place out. The menu is pretty extensive so if you are really hungry the choice is difficult. Being a Sunday evening, they seemed to be out of several items looking at the counter but what was there looked good. I went for the chicken fried chicken plate and my partner had the chicken fried stk sandwich. The chicken was huge, tender and good flavor. The steak sandwich was also very good. The service was great and the employees were very nice. I can't wait to come back and try the jalapeño burger.
