I had my second trip to this new BBQ place today. The first trip a few weeks ago was awesome... first trip had 2 meat plate (chicken, brisket, green beans and mac/cheese) and could barely walk out of there without help. Very large portions. The chicken was something out of this world. I am a pretty tough critic on BBQ, particularly chicken because it is always so dry. The other BBQ options around this area are mediocre at best. Not this stuff, this chicken was so damn juicy I needed a bib. So so good. Went back today to see if it was just a fluke. Got the half chicken plate with green beans and cajun potatoes to go for $10.00. Lawd have mercy. That chicken was even better the second time around! Them bones were picked clean! The whole office was wondering what was smelling so good when I brought it back. LaPorte has been needing this for a long time! Great food and great prices. Next to try is that cajun turkey sandwich!

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately have to write this review after realizing the dishonesty of the establishment. Ordered casseroles for thanksgiving. I was given a wrong item and ended up with two trays of stuffing. I notified them and didn't get a resolution. Then after actually trying the stuffing and realizing they dumped a whole container of bouillon and salt in it I again reached out to them sending pictures and explanation. No response and it seems they actually blocked me on their social media account. I would have been more than happy to have been credited and give them another shot. It's sad that it got to this point. 60$ lost and another bad establishment added to Houston

Stopped by around 1:30pm today. They were almost sold out. This was my first visit. I got the chicken special ($10). Great price and the chicken was so good. Better than King's and Brisket House. I'll be back.

Everything I've tried has been fantastic. I just got the pork belly rib this week and it was the best cut of meat I've tried in a long time!!! Brisket, ribs, and yes the turkey are also all delicious.
