Called 5 times and went to voice mail. Called while I was entering to see if they were busy, and one person in line. I ordered a 2 meat plate, Chicken and Brisket to go and a large drink. Get to open it up and no utensils or bbq sauce. Placed brisket in bread and it was sooooo dam tough. I can say the chicken was awesome. I went by yesterday and no turkey which was advertised. I went back to day to get turkey or beef fajitas and you guessed it, NOPE.

Not sure if I just came at the wrong time or the times are just that hard but they were out of everything from buns to sausage to chicken.I got the one meet plate with double green beans, the beans tasted like they were straight out of a can with some onion tossed in, didn't even finish them, they were so bland. The marbled brisket wasn't much better. There was plenty of it, but it was tough to the point needing to cut it with the flimsy plastic knife I was given. Tasted like it needed a few more hours in the smoker and the tiny smoke ring on the meat backs that up.Over all it was highly disappointing for the 16 dollar price point. Very likely won't be back next time I'm in town on business.

Stopped here to try the 3 meat plate. Per usual I got the brisket, ribs and jalapeño sausage with beans and slaw. The wife got the loaded baked potato. The plate looked great. I had asked for moist brisket and the 2 pieces I received were thick cut point/flat pieces. The two ribs were large and had a decent amount of meat on them. The sausage was good altho I would suspect it's bought and not made. Sides were bland and needed seasoning. The potato was large and had the pulled pork, cheese, butter and sour cream on the side. I was not a fan of the BBQ sauceThe good: the ribs were good perhaps a little tough but not bad. Sausage was good but again maybe a little over done as it was a little chewy The potato was good. The bad : Brisket. Fat was not fully rendered and the flat (lean) was down right tough. Could barely pull the meat apart. Almost no smoke flavor. (Think post roast) The sides were forgettable and needed Al lot of help. Meal with 2 drinks $42 Side note, the day we were here it was cash only. May want to bring your own flatware as the provided utensils are flimsy and not suited to the job.

Food was really good. The sausage was on point and I would recommend this if you're in the area. I was working for a client here in Corpus Christi and they said this is one of their favorite spots to visit. from what I understand this is a local favorite and it's kind of a hole in a wall kind of place.

First time here. The marble brisket, pork ribs, and jal sausage were good. The pork ribs were more peppery than sweet. The green beans were good but the beans and potato salad were a bit bland. We could taste the vinegar in the sauce which unfortunately took away from any flavor it had. Customer service was great! I loved the set up inside.
