We came to Fredericksburg for a small getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After checking some online reviews, we decided to keep our steak house dining tradition that we still don't know how it started. The service was wonderful, and the food was exceptionally amazing. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and my husband's steak was divine. I just wish that the atmosphere was a bit livelier. All in al, it was a lovely dinner, and my husband and I enjoyed celebrating our 18th anniversary without breaking our tradition.

Second time we've been here and WE LOVE IT! The food is outstanding. Service, also, outstanding. Yes, this place really is all that. We made reservations as recommended, it's the right thing to do as I suspect it would have been challenging to be seated without them. The hostess Bethany was so sweet and chatted with us for a few minutes when she showed us to our table, she returned after we were finished and we had a lovely time chatting with her. Ally our server was also incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. We decided on the bone marrow with Parmesan, the calamari and the dessert tartufo. It was all very delicious, rich and special. The calamari was the best I've ever had and I'm a bit of a calamari snob! The bone marrow was a choice we made as we've never had it before. The dessert came highly recommended by locals and it didn't disappoint. We had an issue with our bone marrow, the bone had a hole in it so the marrow was mostly missing and what was there cooked onto the underside of the bone. When we brought it to Ally's attention she immediately made it right. We so appreciated that quality in the staff and the management.
