Delicious BBQ, but the wait time just to place an order was over 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and checked on us at least seven times to make sure everything was okay. The atmosphere is very pleasant and clean. However, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have celiac disease—especially if you're sensitive. For example, I asked if the banana dessert was gluten-free and was told it was, but when I opened it, there was cake inside. It seems the staff may not be fully familiar with gluten-related concerns.

Love the new Dallas location of Hurtado! The finish-out of the restaurant is gorgeous and spacious, it has a fantastic courtyard/patio area, staff was incredibly friendly, service was quick, and the food was outstanding. Will definitely be in the regular rotation this spring and summer for baseball game watching and lunch with friends! The burger was cooked to perfection, and the tacos were delicious!

Amazing barbecue and excellent service! Best pork belly burnt ends ever! And the jalapeño mac n cheese was incredible! The rub on the ribs was spot on, and the brisket melts in your mouth! The staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Armando, who took care of us when we were there. Would definitely come back here and would recommend to our friends and family!

Some of the best Texas style (dry rubbed, smoked low and slow) barbecue you can get anywhere! The bacon burnt ends, pork ribs (spare ribs of course in the traditional Texas way), jalapeño cheddar mac and cheese are our favorites (this joint ranks up there with Franklin's, Killen's, and Pinkerton's for those but this location is the fanciest barbecue joint I've ever been in) but the brisket, sausage, and banana pudding are legit. The fries are on the soggy side though (great if you're into that but we're not). The service was great and everyone was very helpful and pleasant - Armando deserves a shout out! He took great care of us. I highly recommend it and we're definitely coming back.

We tried this place on a recent trip to the Farmer's Market area. They were doing a soft opening at the time. The place is massive. They have a different set up than the location we have been to in Arlington, but the BBQ is still consistent. When we entered the building we were directed to a line that curved around some gift shop items. That allowed us to look at a menu and then put our order in with a staff member that had a hand-held kiosk. From there, you walk to the registers to pay. Unsure what the point of the ordering system is if you go to a register to pay anyway? It's literally 10 feet and 10 seconds different between kiosk and register employees. The Texas trinity platter was fantastic. The turkey sandwich was tasty. They have a large bar area with a great bourbon selection and a massive patio. We will definitely be back when the weather is better for patio time.
