This place is great. I met a coworker for a business lunch. Our order was taken quickly. Employees were very friendly and professional. The BBQ was out in a reasonable period of time. We split this (picture below): EL JEFE - 1/3 lb each of brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, turkey, burnt ends and sausage Mac and cheese and Mexican rice for sides). It was hot, very tasty, and the perfect amount of food. Thanks for a great visit!

I've been eating Texas BBQ at restaurants since 1988, the old saying is true; it's not the same as back in the day. This particular location isn't that good. I wouldn't waste your hard-earned money to visit. We sat in one of their wooden booths and it was dirty and not wiped down from the previous patrons. This is either due to lack of staff or lack of attention to detail. This shouldn't be an excuse due to the premium you'll be paying. To use a comparison, when you go to Rudy's you hardly see things out of order. Their soda machine needed new syrup connected, which again is another attention to detail issue. Some establishments have that take it or leave it attitude, based on the convenience they provide, and this particular location is one of them. Their location in downtown Arlington, is the polar opposite, which is worth the drive there.

This food is ssa point blank period. However, they do have 2 items that are actually good. The texas twinkie and the brisket... to be frank I would hope their brisket is good bc ure in Texas... u can go to spring creek and get good brisket... now Texas twinkies Ik only two places so far you can get a really good one which is here and Hutchins bbq... GO TO HUTCHINS BBQ... every single time i come here only for the tx twinkies they are ALWAYS sold out 3x in a row now once abt 2 hrs before they closed and 2x around this time(2pm) like if u sellout everyday why not just make enough? or maybe put of their online order that they are sold out??! idk im just a customer. ribs mid, tater tot casserole(pictured) sucks u can see all the oil, it's definitely food for yt ppl... can't remember what else i had the first time i had this place and didnt even take pics bc thats how bad the food was... granted i went to the location by uta and even tho that line is always out the door at least they know how to supply and demand unlike this mansfield location that lets you stand in line for 20 mins before disclose they cant make enough of certain items for customers. i will make it my duty to bad mouth this place on every social media and to every person who asks...just uselessps. i remember i got the mashed potatoes and sausage as well... and it takes alotttt for me to hate mashed potatoes bc im a potato connoisseur... the mp are SSA too! i take that back ssa is actually better tbh....sausage is easier to be bad than good so ig i'll cut them slack there but yeah this place not it...

First off, the service here is TOP NOTCH the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. This place has a lot of social media hype but, not all of the food lives up to the hype. The street corn needed salt to balance the acidity from the lime and could have done with about half of the water. The Brisket was a bit dry and arguably had too much fat cap. This could have been due in part to the time of day we came (2:30p). The Mexican cornbread was interesting. The pork ribs were great, I was worried at the amount of bark for my liking but, it worked! The absolute best thing I had here were the fries. My wife loved the baked potato and the kids liked the brisket sandwiches. My son who had the burger described it as "mid" (who gets a burger at a BBQ joint anyway lol). This is certainly a place we would try again, maybe on a Sunday to get some of their barbacoa (beef cheeks).

Today we had a chance to stop by while we were in town for a wedding. This was mine and my wife's first visit and here is our take on it. Wow! Wow! The whole experience was amazing, from ordering to enjoying the plate of BBQ served to us at the table. We had the Tostada, the Birria taco, stuffed cornbread, the smoked quail, Texas twinkies, pork belly burnt ends, one of the best briskets I have ever eaten and to top off an already amazing lunch we had the banana pudding. Delicious!! Although the Q was amazing Casey the manager was the star of the show. He took care of us like we were royalty. Thank Y'all for showing us what true hospitality and great food is all about. Definitely one of the best Texas Monthly top 50 we have eaten at if not the best.
