We had been to the Hurtado in Arlington years ago and were excited to visit again. This place has gone so down hill, we will NEVER return. Also, might want to have a decent bathroom. So nasty.Second the brisket was rubber and dry. The Mac n cheese was cold. The tacos were mostly cheese. Don't get started on the nasty elote. The water/soda tastes gross.I thought we were going to enjoy and it would be a treat to visit again. This place is nasty!

First time trying this place out, and I will definitely be coming back. The brisket was very good, not dry at all. The mac and cheese was my favorite, it has a nice smoky flavor.Parking is kinda small, but I had no issues since there were not many people in.I was just bothered a bit by a small fly that I had to keep away from my food. Overall, the store was clean, but it can improve.

Walked 4 miles round trip while visiting Fort Worth simply on word of mouth, and Hurtado did NOT disappoint. The food? 112/10. The staff? 113/10. The playlist? Immeasurably good. I have never walked 4 miles for food, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I WILL do it again next time I'm in town. Huge shout out to Nick and the rest of the team working. I'll see y'all next time!! You earned a customer for life!!

Walked in to order and noticed people in the cooking area were busy! Ordered a quarter pound of sliced brisket moist with beans and potato salad and ice tea. Took a number and found a place to relax. The inside is somewhat typical of a BBQ restaurant, simple, clean, well lit. They did have big TVs for watching sports. My order arrived in short time. The brisket came with 2 slices of bread, pickles & onions, and BBQ sauce. I took a bite and the brisket was cooked perfectly, wonderful flavor, and did not need BBQ sauce. I did try the sauce and fixings in a half sandwich and it was darn good. The beans were spicy and you could definitely taste jalapeños and cilantro. The potato salad was a good contrast in both taste and in texture. It had potato of course but also had a smooth texture and good flavor. The service was excellent as two different employees came to check in on me, both were friendly, polite, and helpful. I very much enjoyed dining here. On my way out I also noticed they have special on the weekends like Dino ribs and Barbacoa.
