Please do not allow the negative reviews keep you from trying this hidden Gem! We were served by an awesome man named Nathan and not only was the service top notch the food was exceptional! I haven't had a steak as flavorful as the Ribeye I experienced today in a long time 10 out of 10! My husband spoke highly if the Lobster and Green beans as well! Can't wait to return.

Highly recommend!!! If you're looking for a wonderful meal with family or friends. This is the place with a country feel with a little playfulness. The menu offers a wide variety with a nice touch of authentic class. The Manager Trich is great and even was helpful bring the waffle cone ice cream. Just really sweet staff and Mrs. Red the waitress was wonderful and very friendly knowledgeable about the menu as well.Pro Tip: The Owners Mother makes the Homemade Pies. There nothing like a little love and care as a Special ingredients. Treat yourself, Friends or Family

The website must be of a different restaurant. The entire experience was sad.... $10 cocktails were watered down, frozen margaritas had huge chunks of solid ice, server had the personality of a rock, argued with me about the price her manager quoted me for appetizers because it was "past 6:00". Well, we sat there for 10 min waiting for a server to arrive... ordered grilled pork chops, CFS, mashed potatoes and a bacon cheese burger. Literally an hour later the food arrived... the mashed potatoes tasted freezer burnt, the CFS was poor quality store bought, the burger was so greasy it was not edible. Plus my salad never came...The excuse was "we're so busy"... The place was half empty. No wait..Sorry, but "busy" does not explain freezer burned re heated mash potatoes and poor quality food. Don't waste your money

Ordered the ribeye, sirloin, and fried mushrooms and sides. The food was very good. Steaks were grilled just as ordered. Minor hiccup when the food came out (missing sides), but it was rectified very quickly. The fried mushrooms were very good as well. When we arrived, it wasn't very busy. It soon did get busy, and our waiter was a bit overwhelmed, I think. He still did a good job, and other staff members helped where they could. This is not a knock on the service, I think that other staff helping out says a lot. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. I definitely would return if I ever go through Palastine again.

I thought the place was grubby. Maybe that's the look they are going for but I didn't like it. It felt unclean. I had the chop steak. It was VERY salty. I couldn't finish it. It apparently sat under a heat lamp for a long time because the gravy started to coagulate, which explains the long wait. My son had the sirloin steak. It had way too much garlic and butter. He had to try and scrape it off. His fries were cold but he liked his asparagus. Our waitress was nice. She kept our drinks full. Don't know if they had dessert since it was never offered to us.
