We stopped to grab some meat to go and oh my goodness, this was legitimately some of my favorite bbq ever! The stuffed peppers were some of the best I ever had. Brisket was moist and full of flavor and the jalapeño cheddar sausage was eaten so fast it must have been inhaled. I definitely recommend this small town spot. Anytime I am in the area I will return!

Very Nice place. Decent type folks. Good family. 9/2/23: Awesome BBQ. 9/3/23: Enjoyed the BBQ. Thank you 9/4/23 had a beautiful plate of tender pull ribs fall off the bone with some wood fire veggies smoked in peach and Cherry wood, I had to earn all day to eat here

The brisket was lean and very tender (no knife needed) with a good char. The sauce was a bit vinegary for me, but it grew on me. It turned out to be a good contrast to the tender meat. I tried the BBQ beans (regular pintos but in BBQ sauce as you'd expect from the name) with a bit of heat from spices, and bits of brisket - I enjoyed it. I was told to dip my Texas toast in the beans for a special treat. I did - but I liked the beans better just by themselves. The decor is throwback to the 50s-60s, with Texas, Texaco, railroad and vintage as the theme.
