Whenever I do a cross country trip (which is about twice a year), I always try to stop and get BBQ in each state I stop in. So far this has been one of the best places I have been too. The food was delicious (though the pulled pork tasted strongly of alcohol or maybe vinegar and half my group did not like it). Other than that everything was fantastic! Pretty darn cheap too. Incredibly loud inside and shared tables.

We came to Stephenville to drop off some items at Mike's Westside Rental. We're in the transition to move here to Weatherford, Texas from Denver, Colorado. They told my husband about this place and we can tell you, it was delicious! The atmosphere, the employees and even the people around here are very nice! We really liked it and we are definitely coming back.

We stopped in here on our way out of town from visiting Granbury. We kept hearing about this place and how great the food was so we went out of our way to try it out. We got some pork ribs, brisket, bacon wrapped shrimp and bacon wrapped chicken (small pieces). My favorite was the bacon wrapped shrimp. Wasn't a fan of the bacon wrapped chicken-thought it was a little dry. The brisket had great flavor and so did the ribs. I was most impressed with the price we paid for what all we got! We eat BBQ a lot in our city and at HARD 8 we definitely got more food. Next time we're up in Granbury, we'll take the out of way drive to stop by again!

Came in for a company lunch Ordered a medium rare steak and received a well-done steak. Waited almost 25 minutes for it (scary thought alone for a medium rare 8oz steak. Due to the nature of the company lunch, did not ask for refund or re-do. Had bad indigestion the rest of the day with the rest of the team as well. Sad day.

Consistency from one to the next. Efficient system although the two guys seemed a little slow for lunch time. But very friendly and we're working hard. The stuffed potato with brisket and then dressed with all the fixins. Really good needed a nap but had to get back to work.
