Hidden gem in the mall! I was blown away at how delicious everything tasted! The brisket & chicken were juicy, moist and flavorful! This will NOT be the last time I come eat! 🙌🏼🥰❤️😍💪🏼😁

I used to eat here frequently, the meat was tender and flavorful as well as the sides. It was my favorite bbq place. It recently went under new ownership and now the food is TERRIBLE!!!!! The lady owner weighs everything til the last crumb of meat, she gives one small scoop of sides, I asked for a lot of onions because they were my favorite and she gave me three. All of that didn't matter because I was looking forward to the same great flavors but I was severely disappointed! The turkey is dry and has a gross gamey flavor, the brisket is tough and flavorless, the potato salad looks like it was left out overnight all watery and runny. The green beans were alright but overall not worth a second visit. If you came before when the charismatic guy ran it you will notice a HUGE difference. It is no longer my favorite bbq place. I will not be coming back.

Whoa this place is a hidden gem. I never would have thought you could find great BBQ in a mall. The brisket has this wonderful heat that is almost comforting. I loved the crusty peppered top and the sauce. We had the green beans and potato salad which was good too. The owner was so enthusiastic about giving us a sample to try so I tried the turkey and wow it was amazing. Screw Chic Fil a I'm getting BBQ from Grill N Shout now.

My friend and I both ordered the #1 plate, which is 1/4lb of meat, 2 sides and a drink. Options for sides included beans, green beans, or potato salad. I was going to steer clear of the potato salad, but with a lack of options, I got it because the employee there told me "the potato salad is good".I asked for the moist brisket despite most of the brisket appearing to have a decent amount of fat along the edge. The portion was pretty small, and the employee slicing asked "is this ok?", paused and said "would you like some more meat?" I said sure.. he proceeded to slice 2 more small slices and add them to the plate, which I thought was because the meat was so fatty. When I got to the register they rang the plate up as a #2, which is a 1/2 lb of meat and I paid the extra $4. I later found out my friend had also ended up paying more than expected. (more on that later)The brisket had excellent flavor and was better than many local places. I would definitely put it above Bill Millers for tenderness and flavor. Id put the brisket up there with 2 Bros or Blanco BBQ, the sides were where they failed. The brisket had good bark, a nice pepper coating, it wasn't dry at all, had a nice smoked flavor and was seasoned well. I always order moist brisket and even ask for pieces with fat at times, but this was even on the edge of being too fatty even for me. The green beans were good as well, they were seasoned with onions and tomato, but could have been hotter temperature wise.. The potato salad was the disappointment of the meal, it was very bland, almost like plain mayo and potatos. It had an odd flavor, possibly the skins, and was the worst item of the meal. I would have enjoyed coleslaw or even plain buttered corn over this. Now, a bit about my friends order. He ordered the #1 as well, after asking for brisket and sausage, and being told he would need to order a #2 to get that. After seeing the portion of brisket he was served, he decided to go ahead and add the sausage. Instead of them changing his place from a #1 to a #2, they rang up his plate as a #1 and added the sausage link as an additional item which made his total more than the #2 plate. Both our plates ended being $16-$18 each, which is in line with what you would expect pay at dine in BBQ restaurant.Over all the food was good, aside from the potato salad. The portion size of meat on the #1 plate is so small it caused both of us to upsize our orders. Not sure I would return, but if I did, I would probably opt for just a chopped brisket or a brisket po-boy.

Pretty good, I loved the brisket. The rice was alright and the sausage was good. The fries were made fresh for the order but weren't cooked all the way through, I let them know next time. Good people, good food.
